HOW TO OPERATE
Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a non-abrasive, damp cloth and dry.
1.
Place the unit on a clean, dry and level surface near an electrical outlet. Allow
about eight inches of clear space all around the exterior of the unit.

Slide the Drip Tray and Warming Drawer into base of the Griddle.

To help protect the surface of the griddle, use a paper towel to coat
the Cooking Surface with a small amount of vegetable oil. This should
be done periodically to maintain the non-stick quality.
6.
Plug the Detachable Power Cord with Thermostat into the Griddle first with
controls facing up, making sure the Thermostat is turned to OFF.
7.
Plug the Detachable Power Cord with Thermostat into
the nearby electrical outlet and turn ON.
8.
Preheat the appliance for a minimum of 3-7 minutes.
NOTE
: During this time, you may notice a slight odor or smoking.
This is normal with most new electrical appliances. Allow the
appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exist.
9.
While the appliance is preheating, prepare the food and ingredients to be cooked.
10. When appliance has preheated, you may begin cooking your foods. Cooking time will vary
depending on the food being made.
CAUTION
: Cooking Surface will be HOT. Wear oven mitts while using to prevent burns.
11. When done using, make sure the Thermostat is turned OFF to prevent any
sparking from the outlet, then unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
12. Once the appliance has cooled, remove the Drip Tray and
Warming Drawer to empty and clean.
