•
The system must be installed so that the operating and serviceable items are easily accessible. Be sure to allow
sufficient free space (approx. 50 cm) between the lateral inlet and existing walls.
•
Install a shut-off valve in the inlet and pressure line in order to facilitate the work steps during maintenance or possible
dismantling of the system.
•
To avoid deposits in the horizontal pressure line, the line and the system must be designed for a minimum flow rate
of 0.7 m/s and at least 1.0 m/s for vertical lines.
•
The inlet can take place via the horizontal pipe or vertical pipe. For the desired connection, the corresponding opening
must be cut off of the respective inlet pipe of the container. The internal diameter of the inlet line and inlet pipe must
be coordinated.
•
The discharge line should not be laid in tight bends. The line must be laid above the backflow level, i.e. it must be laid
in a continuous rise above this level, and must then feed directly to the manifold in a loop.
•
A gate valve should be installed immediately after the integrated non-return flap in the discharge line.
•
In order for the level control unit to function properly and drain the storage tank , it is essential to lay the pressure hose
between the storage tank and control unit without bends and at a steadily rising level, without loops.
•
Cut open the vent pipes and install a DN 70 vent line on the storage tank using the supplied elastic transition piece.
The vent line must be installed without clogs and secured against buckling or bending. The line must lead outside in
accordance with local regulations.
•
The supplied/connected switchgear must be attached to the wall and be secured against flooding in accordance with
local regulations.
•
We recommend the installation of a manual diaphragm pump in order to be able to empty the storage tank in the
event of a power or pump failure. To do so, drill open the 1“ connection located on the container. Install the manual
diaphragm pump into a 1“ rising line (use a pipe or hose). A non-return flap should be installed in the line to above the
manual diaphragm pump to prevent the return flow of the medium to be pumped. Guide the rising line to the manifold
over the backflow level.
