ASSEMBLY
14.1
Checking scope of supply
Always note visible transport damages on the delivery note and check the machine immedi-
ately after unpacking for transport damage or missing or damaged parts. Report any damage
to the machine or missing parts immediately to your retailer or freight forwarder.
14.2
Preparation of the surface
N O T E
The use of paint thinners, gasoline, corrosive chemicals or abrasive cleaners will result
in damage to the surface! Therefore use only mild cleaning agents.
Before you install and commission the machine at the intended location, carefully remove the
anti-corrosion protection and grease residues. This can be done with the usual solvents. Under
no circumstances should you use nitro thinner or other cleaning agents that could attack the
machine's paint.
14.3
Assembling the machine
The machine has been disassembled for transport and must be assembled before use. Follow
the instructions below:
N O T E
The machine and machine components are heavy!
2 persons are required to assemble the machine.
1.
Assembly supports
•
Insert the support (1) at both ends of the
sliding table (3) into the groove with the
locking block (2).
•
Secure with nut (4), spring washer (5) and
washer.
NOTICE:
Do not tighten yet!
2.
Assembly pressure beam
•
Place the supports in the required posi-
tion
•
Insert washers (3) on the threaded rods of
the brackets (2).
•
Place the pressure beam (1) on the threa-
ded rods (2) of the supports.
•
Fix with nut (5), spring washer (4) and
washer (3).
•
Screw on end cap (6)
•
Fix the supportss in the desired position
