Cleaning the water inlet valve
Moving the machine
Long periods of disuse
To prevent blockage to the water supply from foreign objects, ensure the water inlet valve and
inlet valve filter are cleaned regularly.
Before moving the machine, ensure that the
transportation bolts have been replaced in order
to protect the drum from damage. To replace the
bolts, take the following steps:
1. Remove the blanking plugs.
2. Remove the back cover.
3. Insert the synthetic stabilisers and the
transportation bolts. Tighten with a
spanner.
4. Replace the back cover.
If the washing machine is left idle for a long period of time,
ensure the machine is unplugged and the water supply is
turned off. For long periods of disuse, ensure the door is
left open to avoid the build-up of odour.
