Selecting Spin Speed
Intensity setting
Start a washing cycle
After washing
Energy saving
- Always wash a full load.
- Do not overload the machine.
- Only use a prewash setting for heavily soiled items.
- Reduce the amount of detergent used. Refer to the detergent packet for advice
on measurements.
- Wash on a low temperature. Most modern detergents are designed to function
fully with this in mind.
Press the ‘speed’ button lightly to select the desire speed. When
a speed is set, the adjacent light will be illuminated.
For an intensive wash, first select the required program and before
pressing the start button, press
the ‘intense’ button. The intense
indicator light will illuminate. Using the intense setting will increase
the washing stage and the rinsing stage of the main wash cycle.
When a program has been selected, press the start button to begin
the operation. During a wash cycle, press this button again to
pause the washing cycle
– when paused, the indicator light will
start flashing. To resume the cycle press the start button again.
To cancel a cycle part way through, first pause the cycle as
described above. Then press and hold the power button for 2
seconds until the machine is switched off. The program will now be
cancelled. To select a new program first press the power button to
switch the machine back on.
When the washing machine is not being used, ensure the water
supply is turned off and the machine is unplugged. Leaving the
door open will allow the machine to air thoroughly and prevent the
build-up of odours.
