WORKPLACE
To ensure safety at work, adequate lighting must be provided and the workplace must be kept clean. Do not use the device in an
environment with an increased risk of explosion, or in an environment of flammable liquids, gases or vapours. Use appropriate perso-
nal protective equipment during work and avoid work in a state of fatigue. Ensure that the workplace is adequately ventilated to prevent
the inhalation of harmful fumes generated during work.
DEVICE USAGE
Before starting work, make sure that the device is free from defects and faults. If any malfunction is detected, do not continue
working and return the unit to an authorized service center. Before starting work, the workstation must be properly prepared.
Make sure that the plug of the electric cable fits into the mains socket. Avoid contact between the power cable and heat, oils,
sharp edges and moving parts. Damage to the power cord increases the risk of electric shock. Use the right tool for the job and
avoid overloading it. Before starting work, the workstation must be properly prepared.
Make sure that the “ON/OFF” switch is in the „OFF” position and that the pin is installed. Then, while holding the device by the
handle, insert the plug into an electrical outlet. You can then switch the power button to the „ON” position. If necessary, the en-
graving depth can be adjusted by changing the pin depth. There is a knob on the side of the device to adjust the pin rate. Turning
it anticlockwise to position „1” reduces the advance depth of the pin and allows gentle engraving. By moving the adjustment
knob according to the direction of movement of the pointer to the position „5”, it increases the advancement depth of the pin
and allows for deeper and wider engraving. When finished, you can turn off the unit by switching the power button to the „OFF”
position. Wait until the pin stops completely. Unplug the power plug from the electrical outlet. Then you can start cleaning and
maintaining the device. Do not exert too much pressure on the workpiece or make sudden movements during operation so as not
to damage the attached equipment or the device itself. It is recommended to hold the device at a slight angle, like a ballpoint pen,
to ensure proper visibility of the material being processed. In addition, it is recommended to make a trial use on unnecessary
material in order to master the device and adjust the engraving power accordingly.
NOTE: The device heats up during operation. It should not be used for more than 30 minutes. As the temperature of the device
rises, take breaks to cool it down completely. Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids to cool down. Do not process
any live parts.
REPLACING ACCESSORIES
To install/replace the pin, switch the grinder off by switching the clamping button to the „OFF” position and remove the plug from
the electrical socket. Then unscrew the side fastening bolt with a flat screwdriver in an anticlockwise direction. Then insert the
bolt into the fastening hole in the unit, making sure it is pushed all the way in. Tighten the fastening screw by turning it clockwise
with a screwdriver. When you have finished installing the pin, make sure that it is installed correctly and firmly.
MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, CLEANING
Always unplug the device from the mains socket before performing maintenance and cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth or brush to
remove the dirt. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. An air stream of not more than 0,3 MPa may also be used.
WASTE DISPOSAL
Damaged equipment, accessories and packaging materials should be recycled and used in an environmentally friendly manner.
