In a configuration with 1 FT and 4 PTs the command SPMP ON on FT-side leads to the
transparent multipoint mode (see SPMP command):

FT to PT:

FT sends 26-byte data packets to each connected PT.

PT to  FT:

Each PT sends 26-byte data packets to FT.
FT sends these packets first-in-first-out over its RS-232 interface.

In this mode hardware flow control is not active.
