Battery control display
The device is delivered with a lithium cell (3 Volt, CR 2032). In case of low
battery the according symbol is shown in the lower part of the display. It is
recommended to exchange the battery as soon as possible, although, if
necessary, it can still be used (see picture). If the battery is very low,
additionally to the blinking battery symbol the „Lo“-symbol is displayed and a
signal tone sounds (see picture). Now it is not possible anymore to use the
thermometer unless changing of the battery. In this case press any button to
turn off the unit.
Changing the battery
The present thermometer is equipped with a safety lock to keep the battery
away from children. Press down the button with a pointed article and then
remove the battery.
You need a 3 V CR 2032 lithium battery for your device. When inserting the
battery the negative pole has to be turned to the bottom.
