• After unpacking the appliance, check that it is undamaged
and that no parts are missing. If in doubt, contact the
store where the appliance was bought. All contents of the
package, such as plastic bags, styrofoam, tape, etc., should
be kept out of reach of children, as it could be dangerous and
cause suffocation. Only use accessories recommended by
the manufacturer and those provided with the appliance,
otherwise they could constitute a danger to the user and
risk to damage the appliance.
• Do not open the casing or undertake any repairs of the
appliance. By failing to observe this rule, you risk your safety
and the warranty may become invalid. Service or repairs
can only be done by an authorised technician.
Operation
• The appliance should be placed on a dry and flat, surface,
protected from impacts and that should be resistant to heat
• The appliance must always be used in the upright position
and never on its side, tilted or in the upside-down position.
• Make sure that the crumb tray is properly placed before
starting the appliance.
• You may notice an odd smell when the appliance is used for
the first time. This is normal and harmless and will vanish
after a while.
• Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
• This appliance is exclusively for domestic use. Any other
use must be considered improper and therefore dangerous.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
injuries or damage resulting from improper use.
• Always use the appliance on a dry, flat, stable, heat-resistant
surface and keep it away from flammable materials, such
as towels, curtains, cloths, clothing, papers, detergents,
among others, because the bread may burn during the
toasting process.
