Problems Solution
Water tank leaks
• Check if the maximum water
level is not exceeded.
• Check if the water filler plug is
closed correctly.
• Always operate the device
holding it vertically.
The device generates a humming
sound and other strange sounds
• Check the water level. If there is
no water or not enough water,
refill the tank.
The device does not remove creases
easily
• Hold the device vertically and
stretch the fabric for best results.
Discolourations on the clothing
• Do not iron right next to metal
parts or if such parts are located
behind the ironed fabric.
8.1 Basic principles
Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the life
span of the device.
8.2 Descaling
Warning! Turn the device off, disconnect it from the power source and
wait until it cools down before cleaning or maintenance to avoid electric
shock or burn.
8. CLEANING AND CARE
• Always empty the water tank when you have finished working.
• Wipe the device with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
• You may wash the attachments with running water and leave them to dry.
• Steam power will degrade with time and frequency of use. When this happens,
the device should be descaled.
• Use the commercially available descaling agents based on citric acid. Follow
the instructions provided by the manufacturer/importer of the agent.
