6. When not in use, place the device on an even and
stable surface. When ironing horizontally, make
sure the surface is even and stable.
7. Refill the water tank in accordance with the
instructions in section 7 USE - 7.3 REFILLING
THE WATER TANK .
8. Clean and descale the device in accordance with
the instructions in section 8 CLEANING AND
CARE .
9. Attention! Risk of burns! Observe caution when
ironing as the released steam is hot!
10. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If it
is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer,
service center or a qualified person to avoid
hazard and/or injury.
11. Keep the device in a location inaccessible to children when it is turned on or is
cooling down.
12. The device must not be left unattended when it is connected to the mains.
13. Do not use the clothes steam cleaner if it has been dropped and shows any sign
of damage or leaks.
14. Carefully read the entire Manual before using the product.
15. This device is intended for indoor use only.
16. Connect the device to AC mains 220-240 V~, 50-60 Hz to a grounded socket.
17. To prevent electrocution, do not immerse the plug, the power cord or the device
in water or other liquids.
18. Do not remove the water tank during operation. First, unplug the device from the
mains and wait for it to cool down.
19. Do not put your hands in the steam cloud, do not touch hot metal parts.
20. Do not hang the power cord against the edge of a table or sink.
21. When using the device, lay the power cord in such a way to avoid unintended
pulling or tripping over it.
22. If an extension cord is used during work with the device, its parameters must
comply with the ones cited in this User’s Manual.
23. Do not touch any electrical device if it has fallen into water or water has been
spilt on it. Unplug it immediately.
24. Do not touch the device with wet hands.
25. Never aim the steam stream on other people or animals.
