7.4 Attachment installation/removal
ATTENTION!
When the water in the water tank is used up, the device will not emit steam
anymore. Refill the water tank, observing all protective measures. When the
water tank is empty, the device can overheat.
Never add any cleaning agents, fragrances, scented oils or other chemicals
to the water tank. Such agents may damage the device and make it
dangerous to use.
Only use distilled or boiled water.
Always disconnect the device from the mains before starting to fill or empty
the water tank.
Do not open the water filler plug when the device is being used.
The water filler plug must always be opened slowly. Thus, any steam inside
the device which may be pressurised will be released gradually. Observe
caution – the steam may still be hot.
ATTENTION! Do not install/remove the attachments when the device is hot,
as there is a risk of burns.
1. Make sure that the device is disconnected from the power source.
2. Grab the device by the handle, install the attachment with the other hand. Make
sure the tabs on the attachment’s inner side enter into the openings around the
steam plate.
