STEAM IRON
Before use
• Make sure that all the packing material has been properly removed before
using the appliance.
•
Remove any protective films or stickers from the soleplate or main body.
• Clean the soleplate (L) with a soft cloth to remove any manufacturing
residues.
Filling up the water tank
• Turn off the steam outlet by sliding button (C) to dry ironing / ironing
without steam.
• Place the iron in the vertical resting position, open the lid (B), tilt the iron
forward at an angle of approximately 45º and pour water into fill the tank
until it reaches the maximum level mark. Make sure that does not exceed
the “MAX” mark indicated on the tank (K).
Note:
You can use tap water to fill the tank (K). If the water to be used
is hard, it is advisable to use distilled or demineralized water. Do
not use chemically softened water or perfumed water on this
appliance.
•
After filling the tank (K), close the cover (B).
• The appliance is now ready for use.
Operation
•
Place the appliance in the vertical resting position over a stable, flat
surface and plug it into the mains.
• Select the temperature on the button (G), according to the fabrics you
want to iron.
• The pilot light (J) lights up to indicate that the appliance is heating up and
goes off when the selected temperature is reached.
• Adjust the steam output on button (C) according to the fabrics you want
to iron.
• The appliance is ready for use.
• During operation, the pilot light (J) turns on and off repeatedly, indicating
that the thermostat maintains the selected temperature.
• After use, switch off the appliance by sliding the steam control button (C)
to dry ironing
