“Application center”
Launch the “application center” by clicking on the corresponding button in the
“Lightening” start interface or the “Lightening” “Conf./Tune” menu.

ATTENTION!
Be sure to correctly set the maximum permissible position error "maximum
pos error". This setting is important for enabling the drive amplifier to deac-
tivate the motor in the event of too great a deviation from nominal position. If
desired, values for position errors and speed errors above which a warning is
to be output can also be set under "Warning Windows". These warnings do
NOT however stop motor movement if the values are exceeded.
Note: The selection menu provided for “Position Units” can be used to define the
desired unit for your input.
8.5.1
Homing
Regardless of the method selected, the speed (Faster Speed and Slower Speed)
should be defined before homing. The “Smooth factor” is used for jerk limitation
and is set to 100 by default.
Should the reference position determined by the drive not match the zero point of
the traversing range, the desired offset can be entered in the “Home offset” field.
