• Remove the cassette and then try to reinsert: remove it several times. If the indication is
still shown in the viewfinder or on the LCD monitor, use a cleaning tape to clean the
heads and replace the cassette.

• External interference may have caused the camcorder's microprocessor to
malfunction temporarily. If random letters appear in the viewfinder or on the
LCD monitor, or if normal operation is interrupted, remove the power source
and clock battery, and then reattach them: the camcorder functions will
return to their default settings.
