Moving or transporting the refrigerator
Remove all items (including ice) stored in
the refrigerator.

Unplug the power cord.
You can wait to unplug the power cord until right before you move
the refrigerator.
Grasp the handles for moving
the refrigerator, to move it.
You will need at least two
people to move it.

When transporting the refrigerator, stand the
refrigerator upright. If you lay it horizontally,
it might damage the refrigerator.

Lay a protective sheet or cloth along the path
where the refrigerator will be moved.
This is to prevent the floor from being scratched and to protect it from
any water that might drip from the refrigerator.

Remove the leg covers and raise
the adjustable mounts.
Install the refrigerator according to the procedure
“Setting up the refrigerator”.

Use tape to secure the doors and the power
cord.
Place a piece of cloth below
the drainage outlet*.
Tilt the refrigerator backward
to drain any water left in
the refrigerator.

Dispose of any water in the water supply
tank or ice container.
Remove the water supply tank, and clean the ice maker.
