Cleaning the refrigerator
Keep the refrigerator clean by wiping away dust, spilled foods, and other residue as soon as you notice them. In addition, we recommend that you perform a detailed
cleaning of all parts (including those not visually accessible) at least once a year.
Do not use any of the following products when cleaning the refrigerator, as these products might scratch or discolor the refrigerator’ s doors, surface coating, and plastic and glass parts.
Be sure to check the labels of cleaning agents and ensure they are safe for use on refrigerators.
If cooking oil, soup, or some other liquid gets on any part of the refrigerator, wipe it off immediately to prevent damage or discoloration of the refrigerator part.
Do not wipe off the lubricant on the slide rails of containers/drawers or on the surfaces in contact with the slide rails. (This lubricant conforms to Japan’ s food hygiene law.)
If you attach magnets or suction cups to the refrigerator doors or other parts, the magnets or suction cups might leave a mark on the surface of the refrigerator.
If you unplug the power cord, some control panel settings might be reset. After plugging in the power cord, check the settings.
