calculation can be made using the length (L in

(8) Measurement of Drift
Drift is measured by using the data and baseline obtained
from the Raman spectrum of water (measurement
conditions are the same as in preceding subsection (4); but
measuring time is 15 minutes).
For the sake of simplicity, calculation can be performed on
the assumption that the output signal is zero at the
emission wavelength of 450 nm.
