the power switch to “DVD”. (The
DVD video camera/recorder will
automatically repair the video

DVD error has occurred.
Please keep DVD inside and
set power switch to "DVD".
Appears when writing
fi
les to DVD was
not possible during dubbing.
Connect the AC adapter/charger,
and set the power switch to “DVD”.

DVD error has occurred.
Un
fi
nalize is not completed.
Appears when a recorded
fi
le cannot
be read or written. If no recovery is
made even when the DVD is cleaned
or un
fi
nalized again, the DVD may be
defective.
Clean the DVD, referring to “4-3-5
Cleaning DVD and optical pickup”,
or replace it.
Appears when an accident, such as
power off, occurred during un
fi
nalizing.
Set the power switch to “OFF”,
reattach the AC adapter/charger,
set the power switch to “DVD”, and
then un
fi
nalize the disc again. Or,
press the DISC EJECT button to
remove the DVD, reload it, and then
un
fi
nalize it again.
If no recovery is made even when the
DVD is cleaned or un
fi
nalized again, the
DVD may be defective.
Replace the DVD.
DVD error has occurred.
Also appears when reading or writing
from/to recorded
fi
le cannot be performed
be cause the DVD is dirty.
Refer to “4-3-5 Cleaning DVD and
optical pickup” and clean the DVD.
Or replace the DVD.
Appears when the disc has been edited
on a device other than the DVD video
camera/recorder, and mismatch has
occurred in recorded data.
Format the disc (deleting all recorded
data), or replace the disc.
DVD full.
Cannot execute.
Appears if the recording capacity of DVD
has reached the limit during editing of
video
fi
le.
Delete unnecessary scenes, or replace
the DVD.
DVD has no data.
Appears when playback or editing is
attempted using the Disc Navigation
function with no scene recorded on DVD.
Operate the DVD video camera/
recorder after the message
disappears.
DVD has no Play List.
Appears if switching of play list is
selected with no play list registered.
Operate the DVD video camera/
recorder after the message
disappears.
