1 Before operation
5.2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The new Domestic Hot Water Tank manufactured by HITACHI will
be supplied as an accessory of the “Yutaki” series systems.
• Enamelled and Stainless Steel tank
Two models of 200 and 300 litres capacity made in Vitrified Steel
and two models more with same capacity made in Stainless Steel
chemically descaled and passivated.
• Efficiency thermal insulation
Thermally insulated with rigid, mould-injected, CFC free polyu

rethane PU foam and have an external, removable, padded po
-
lypropylene film in white color and a top cover in grey color.
• High efficiency tank
Optimum design of the heat exchanger coil to provide the maxi
-
mum domestic hot water production capacity with our Yutaki Heat
Pump systems.
• Compact size and reduced installation space
Elimination of cold zones at the buttom of the storage tank to
prevent the risk of bacteria proliferation (e.g. legionella).
• Cathodic protection (only Enamelled steel tank)
Cathodic protection installed with magnesium anode and load
mesured on the top cover.
• Electric Heater
Standard factory supplied 2.5kW immersion Electric Heater ele

ment fitted into the side sealed gasket.
• Low Maintenance and easy servicing access
All water and electrical connections within a 90ºC angle that it can
be readily fitted in the tightest of spaces.
• Control Panel
Control panel with all the regulating and control elements required
for correct operation in combination with “Yutaki” heating system.

6 BEFORE OPERATION
C A U T I O N
• Turn OFF the main switch when the system must be stopped for a long time period.
• Check that there is no water leakage.
• Ensure that pressure inside the DHWT is not higher than 7 bars.
• If necessary install a high water pressure switch set at 7 bars.
• Ensure that the General norm for hydraulic connections has been followed for DHWT installation.
