1. After inserting a plug into a socket on a PDB, install the cable clamp to
prevent it from accidentally becoming unplugged.
2. Route the power cables.
3. Recheck the power cable plug to make sure it is still secure in the PDB
and that it has not become loosened during the cable routing. See
Figure 5-45 .

NOTE: When using PDB without a cable clamp, ensure that the power
cable is firmly fixed to the rack with repeat binders, etc. to prevent the
connector from coming off.
