To connect the instrument to a LAN network, you need to set the host
name of the instrument, IP address, subnet mask, port number, and
gateway.
When connecting to an existing network, the specification items must
first be assigned by the network system manager (department man-
ager). Make sure they never overlap with another machine.
You will ne-ed to obtain the following from your network administrator.

This is the name of the instrument in the network. It must be distinct
from the addresses of all other instruments in the network.
