Note:
If the netX 90 is not in its “blank” state because a valid
communication firmware is already residing in the flash, you can
“force” the ROM code into console mode by pulling the RDY pin of
the netX 90 to GND (i.e. if the pin is accessible. Consult the
hardware documentation of your netX 90 device for information on
this).
Step-by-step instructions
1. Establish connection to web server.
Ø
Use an Ethernet cable to connect an Ethernet port of the netX device
with a network in which a DHCP server is available.
Ø
Connect the netX device to the voltage supply.
Ê
If the flash is “blank”, the ROM code automatically enters the “default”
console mode, thus enabling access via UART or Ethernet.
Ø
If the flash is not blank, force the netX 90 into default console mode
(see note above).

The netX 90 obtains an IP address from the DHCP server and is
accessible now.

In the
Windows Explorer
of your programming PC/laptop, open your
Network
environment and look for the
netX90 ROM
entry under
Network Infrastructure
