Battery

103/142

12 Battery

The battery is of type CR2032.

Using the Battery is optional. The PLC program is saved in the Flash
memory when a boot application has been created and needs no battery
buffering.

The battery is used for

•

buffering the time and

•

buffering of volatile key data.

A fully charged battery has a life time of 1 year.

Important:

Recommendation: Change the battery every 12 month.
