Transparent Mode
The
Transparent Mode
is used with the data capturing to register any
Ethernet frame data, i. e., any bits transmitted including all frame data,
preamble and SFD (=Start of Frame Delimiter).
Note:
The usage of the Transparent Mode only makes sense with a 100
Mbit connection.

As during the Ethernet Mode the preamble and the SFD (=Start of Frame
Delimiter) are not included to the frame, these parts are captured during
Transparent Mode.
