Storage Enclosure Quick Start Guide

Chapter 5 Preventive and Cautionary

Tips



Cut off storage enclosure power supply before plugging or unplugging power
cord.



When connecting storage system with enclosure, the more HDD the storage
enclosure contains, the more time HDD detection takes.



For details about supported storage enclosure and configuration, refer to user
manual of storage system.



If you are going to build iRAID with HDD from one storage enclosure, do not add
HDD in storage enclosure and storage system to the same HDD resource pool.
