Make sure all v
ehicles/items in the cargo area have been secured with the proper tie
down straps and the car
go door is locked prior to transit.
Loading a vehicle in the cargo bay:
Release the cables attached to the cargo ramp door so it can be lowered to the ground.
Lift the ramp door up slightly and remove the safety pins which will release the cables
from the cargo ramp door. Remove the safety pins from the brackets; let the cables
hand down at the side of the door frame.
Lower the ramp door to the ground.
Unfold the left and right side rail sections so they are parallel with the sides of the ramp
Failure to comply with weight capacities and distribution could result in an
accident or loss of control resulting in death of serious injury.
Any motorized vehicle or motorized equipment powered with flammable
liquid can cause fire or explosion or asphyxiation if stored or transported within
the recreational vehicle. To reduce the risk of fire, explosion or asphyxiation:
1. Do not ride in the vehicle storage area while vehicles are present.
2. Do not sleep in the vehicle storage area while vehicles are present.
3. Close doors and windows in walls of separation (if installed) while any
vehicle is present.
4. Run fuel out of engines of stored vehicles after shutting off fuel at the
tank.
5. Do not store, transport, or dispense fuel inside this vehicle.
6. Open the windows, openings, or air ventilation systems provided for
venting the transportation area when vehicles are present.
7. Do not operate propane appliances, pilot lights, or electrical equipment
when vehicles are present.
FAILURE TO COMPLY COULD RESULT IN AN INCREASED RISK OF
FIRE, EXPLOSION OR ASPHYXIATION RESULTING IN DEATH OR
SERIOUS INJURY.
Your recreation vehicle’s load capacity is designated by weight, not by
volume, so you cannot necessarily use all available space when loading the
vehicle. Do not exceed your GVWR and ensure you are loading the vehicle
as evenly as you can for the best possible handling. Ensure heavy items are
secured so they do not shift during travel.
