Target Scan
Effect Function
parameter DMX value = 5
Selecting the Target Scan effect creates a transparent pattern on the image that simulates rings
that scan across the fixture array from the perimeter in or the center out. This effect responds
according to the values set in the Transparent Color parameter, see
Transparent Color
on page
43.
Modifier 1 :
Adjusts the size of the visible target ring from no pixels wide at a DMX value = 0 to
one pixel less than the total pixel width of the array at a DMX value = 255 (100%).
Modifier 2 :
Adjusts the speed of the target scan. At a DMX value = 129 (50%), the ring is
static. As you decrease the DMX value from the midpoint the rings move from the perimeter
toward the center of the array with the speed increasing to a maximum at a DMX value = 0. As
you increase the DMX value from the midpoint the rings move from the center toward the
perimeter of the array with the speed increasing to a maximum at a DMX value =255 (100%).
