Hang the pump drainage hose in a sink, toilet, drain or bucket. Unwind the hose completely to
avoid buckling due to very tight winding up. Make sure that the end of the condensate hose is in a
drain or condensate container and cannot slip out during operation.
Make sure that any condensate container you use can hold the required amount. The
KT 1800
can dehumidify up to 55 L in 24 hours.
7.
Water must be emptied from the pump before the device is moved. Turn the device OFF for 10
minutes for this purpose, so that the water runs from the cooling lines into the pump. Then press
the PURGE (emptying) switch (3).
8.
CAUTION: Check that the dehumidifier is functioning properly daily. Protect the floors from any
water that could possibly leak out.
9.
Functions of the sensor control
The sensor control of the dehumidifier indicates a display and four buttons. The normal
displays are:
DE-HUMIDIFIER OFF
KMPRSR VERZ. 60
DE-HUMIDIFIER ON
PUMP EMPTIES
TOTAL-H=00000
DE-FROST ON
INSTRUCTION-H=00000
SERVICE ERROR 01
Operating buttons of the sensor control
1 ON-OFF
After connecting the device for the first time, the display runs through the following three indicators:
DE-HUMIDIFIER OFF
TOTAL NUMBER OF HOURS
HOURS INSTRUCTED.
Press the ON-OFF (1) button to switch on the device. The display often shows KMPRSR VERZ. 60
and counts backwards from a maximum of 60 to 0 seconds.
Next, the device is automatically run and the display shows DE-HUMIDIFIER ON.
(The delay prevents damages as a consequence of coincidental power interruption by switching the
compressor on and off, if the pressure in the system is still too high.)
2 DISPLAY
Press the Display button (2) to hold the display at DE-HUMIDIFIER ON or OFF, TOTAL NO. OF
HOURS or INSTRUCTED HOURS when running. Pressing again will run the display again.
