Creating Gen10 server profiles

Procedure

1. For RAID, HBA, or mixed modes, select, Manage Mezz 1 storage controller.

2. For unmanaged or singular HBA and RAID modes, select Create logical JBOD.

NOTE: The maximum logical JBOD limit is 108 per Synergy frame. This number includes external logical drives.

a. Supply the following data:

• Name of the logical JBOD

• Number of physical drives

• Select drives using one of the following options:

Drive type

◦

Size and technology

• Drive type—SAS HDD, SATA HDD, SAS SSD, or SATA SSD

• Select 

yes or no to Erase on delete.

b. Click Create or  to create the logical JBOD.

3. For RAID mode, select Create logical drive.
