To detach the battery from your e-bike simply open

the Velcro strap, detach the power cable from the

battery and grab the battery.

Charging the battery

•  Connect the power plug (5) to a turned off power

outlet, connect the charger’s battery plug (4) to

the battery’s charge port (1), then turn on the

power outlet. Connecting the charger’s battery

plug to the battery’s charge port with the power

outlet turned on may generate a spark between

the battery plug and the charge port.

•  The charger has a LED light indicator, which

turns from red to green when the battery is fully

charged.

•  Charging time is 3-4 hours to charge the battery

completely.

•  The maximum charging voltage is 37.8V. Do not

exceed this value.

•  Charging current should be under 3A.

•  Keep the ambient temperature between -10C to

45C when charging the battery.

•  The battery should have room temperature when

charging.

ATTENTION!

Only use an original charger to charge the

battery.

Battery range

The battery range varies depending on factors

such as:

•  Average riding speed - the faster you go the more

energy is required and the quicker the battery will

be discharged. However, if you ride faster than 25

km/h or the ‘Maximum speed’ you have set in the

app, the motor assist will shut off and the motor

will not drain the battery.

•  Assistance level used - the best way to conserve

battery power is pedalling effort. Using less

assistance and exerting more effort into pedalling

will decrease battery power consumption and

result in a longer range.

•  General maintenance - keep your tyres correctly

inflated at all times and maintain and lubricate

moving parts.

•  Stop-and-go traffic - starting from a standstill will

always require more energy. To extend your range,

start in Eco mode.

•  Rider’s weight and cadence - the motor will use up

more energy for heavier riders. Keeping a cadence

of at least 60 rpm will be more efficient.

•  Some riding conditions such as uneven road

surfaces, headwinds and going uphill requires

more power to assist you up to a certain speed

and thus reduces the battery range.

Battery capacity

•  Batteries, measured in watt-hours, have different

energy capacities. In general, the more watt-

hours, the longer the range, the more expensive

the battery, and the heavier your bike.

•  Ambient temperature can have a significant

impact on battery capacity. Battery capacity is

tested at a reference temperature of 23°C (73F).

Large deviations from the reference temperature

will drain the battery faster due to changes in

internal resistance and will shorten the range.

•  As the battery ages its original capacity

diminishes. This is true of all batteries but some

chemistries last longer than others.

•  You can always check the amount of charge

remaining in the battery on the app when the app

is connected to a motor turned on.

Precautions

•  Do not put the battery in high temperature

environment or direct sunshine.

•  Do not disassemble the battery and beware of

impact and fall.

•  Do not expose the battery to humid environments

or water.

•  Do not put excessive pressure on the battery

•  Do not put the battery in metal powder or ionized

environment.

•  If you’re going to stop using the bike for more than

a month, charge the battery before storage.

•  Charge the battery at least every three months to

keep the battery capacity.

•  Never fully drain the battery and never leave it

uncharged for a prolonged period of time as this

may damage the battery permanently.

DANGER!

Remove the battery before any

assembly, maintenance or other work

on your e-bike to avoid unintentional

activation of the electric system which

can cause injuries.
