4.2. SWITCH POSITIONS
-POSITION “0”: Fans stopped. If the heating air
temperature reaches approximately 50ºC, the
THERMOSTAT starts up the fans at 750 r.p.m.
Therefore, to avoid any overheating of the C-3-N
Compact fireplace, it must be connected to the mains
when in use.
-POSITION “I”: (COMFORT) The fans work
together at 750 r.p.m.
-POSITION “II”: (STRONG) The fans work together
at 1,500 r.p.m.
We recommend:
-POSITION “I or 0”: (COMFORT) when the fireplace
is working normally.
-POSITION “II”: (STRONG) for fires or fast heating
of the fireplace.
-POSITION “0”: During periods of non-use.

5. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
HERGÓM has the following accessories for this
C-3-N Compact fireplace:
a)
Steel tubes
covered in vitrified enamel, elbow
joints and cowls for chimney construction.
6. LIGHTING AND COMBUSTION ADJUSTMENT
- BY TURNING the cinder tray door handle from
0º to 90º, more air is provided for combustion. The
door opens partially.
- This adjustment is vital when using the coal
basket, which is supplied as an accessory for
burning this type of fuel.
Tubes
To favour lighting, we recommend you set the handle
of the cinder tray door at 90º to allow for plenty of air
that will liven up combustion.
We recommend
you leave the fireplace door slightly
open to prevent condensation from forming and the
glass from staining during the first few minutes of
lighting.
