Adding Waypoints 

The Add Waypoint button is accessible from any page within 

OziExplorer. The Add Waypoint button will instantly add a waypoint at 

the current cursor position on the map. 

Note that the Add Waypoint button will not have any effect when the current 

page does not contain the map panel. 

The cursor position is either the arrow showing your current position if you 

have a GPS fix, or the crosshair cursor if either GPS tracking is switched off or 

you do not have a GPS fix. 

Waypoint Properties 

Your HN7 is pre-set to automatically display the Waypoint Properties when a 

waypoint is created. This menu will allow you to do the following: 

•

 

Enter a name for the waypoint. 

•

 

Change the colour of the waypoint. 

•

 

Edit position. 

•

 

Enter a proximity alarm distance. 

Note: Entry of a name or other data is optional.
