Opening a Map
NOTE
Before attempting to open a map, it is necessary
to switch off GPS reception
by tapping the GPS
Lock button on the right-hand toolbar.
To switch to the
Maps
page
, tap
Select page
Tap
Maps
Map files may be opened by selecting the Open Map button
on the bottom toolbar from the Maps page.
The Open Map File window will appear. Drill down to the required map by
navigating the directory/file structure until the required map is found.
Double-tap to open the required folder or alternatively, tap the folder and tap
the Open button. Note: Some folders may contain sub-folders with maps.

Menus feature the
following “finger
control” buttons:
Close: Tap to X exit a menu.
Keyboard: Tap to launch the
keyboard and tap to close the
Keyboard. Used to name
waypoints, routes and tracks and
for name search.
Open: Tap to Open a map or
data such as waypoints, routes
and tracks.
Close: Tap to exit a menu
(the same function as X)
