These operating instructions solely relate to product 38037.
They contain important notes concerning operating the product for the first time and handling
the LED strip.
Therefore pay attention to these operating instructions, even if you pass this product on to
third parties.
It is important, therefore, that these instructions are archived carefully for referring to information at a
later stage.
1. Introduction
Dear customer, thank you for deciding to purchase our product.
You have acquired a product from Vollmer, which has been built according to the current state of
technology.
The LED strip fulfils the requirements of effective European and national guidelines.
To maintain the condition of the product and to ensure safe operation, you - as the user - must observe the
instructions of this operation manual!
2. Safety Instructions / Warnings
The guarantee becomes invalid if damage occurs due to the failure of following these operating
instructions!
We do not accept liability for any consequential damage!
Do not switch the LED strip when rolled up.
We do not accept liability for any personal injury or damages to property caused by incorrect handling
or failure to observe the safety advice. In such cases, all warranty claims are rendered void.
The type plate must not be removed.
Remove the batteries for longer periods out of use. Batteries may leak (risk of chemical burns).
3. Proper Use
The LED strip is an indoor light decoration and play of light on walls and ceilings, in kitchens and lots more.
High performance Light Emitting Diodes (LED) are integrated as sources of light. These LEDs guaranteed
high luminosity with low electricity consumption.
4. Commissioning
1. Unpack the contents and check to see if they are complete and intact. Immediately contact your retailer
if you notice a defect.
2. Unroll the LED strip from the spindle
3. Clean the surface where you want to attach the LED strip.
4. In order to guarantee the best hold of the LED strip, the attachment surfaces must be dry, sufficiently
even, clean and free of grease.
5. Pull the sticky film off the back of the LED strip and apply it immediately.
Tip:
The LED strips are self-adhesive but the glue can detach after a longer period of use,
so always use a suitable adhesive and apply additional adhesive points when
laying your LED strip for the first time.
