Assembly description
A Hei-VOLUME Distimatic Pro automatic module & Hei-VAP Expert or Hei-VAP Ultimate
rotary evaporator system consists of different assemblies, which are delivered preas -
sembled and must be put together and connected in the place of use as described in
the following sections.
During the assembly, pay attention to cleanliness and good acces-
sibility of the assembly units and comply with the following specific
instructions:
➜ Make sure that the assembly/work area is clean and dry.
➜ Where possible, maintain a distance of approx. 30 cm between
the back of the rotary evaporator and other devices or elements
of the building, to ensure easy access to the plug-in connec-
tions at the rear.
➜ We strongly recommend that all assembly/installation work is
always carried out by at least two persons.
➜ In particular, note that the valve matrix is not tightly connected
to the rotary evaporator. This means that the whole system
cannot be moved as a compact unit after assembly/installation.
Instead, the valve matrix and the rotary evaporator must be
moved individually and at the same time so that the existing
tube and cable connections are not exposed to any mechanical
loads during transport.
