Insert the solar sensor
control into the con-
trol well provided in
the front of the water
h e a t e r. A d d i t i o n a l
equipment may be
needed in order to
wire the control to the
e x i s t i n g s y s t e m .
Controls also have
the ability to monitor
and displaying solar
collector temperature
and also upper and
lower tank tempera-
ture.
CIRCULATOR
SIZING
The circulator pump
must be sized for the
related piping and
pressure drop of the
heat exchanger. The
following graph rep-
resents the pressure
drop of the solar heat
exchanger. You must
c o n s u l t t h e s o l a r
panel manufacturer
for flow requirements
to assist in pump
selection.
AS FAR AS IT WILL GO. PACK THE
CONTROL WELL WITH INSULATION.
