2. Hand bend arch tabs downwards until they contact the
restrictor tabs bent in Step 1. Bend top portion of the arch
tab upwards 90 degrees. See Figure 10.5.

3. Place arch finishing template piece over the top of the
arch tabs and center. When in place, bend the top portion
of the arch tabs over the top of the arch trim to hold it into
place. Bend outside edges of the arch trim downward to
match the outside profile of the top finishing template
piece. See Figure 10.6.

4. Attach the assembled top and arch finishing template,
as well as both side finishing template pieces, to the appliance
over top of the non-combustible board using the hole
locations shown in Figure 10.7. Use the provided self
tapping screws found in the manual bag to attach the
template pieces.

5. Install non-combustible finishing material up to the
edge of the template. Once facing material is installed,
the template must be removed and can be discarded.

The base of the appliance may sit on a combustible sur

face. The area in front of the appliance must be protected
by a noncombustible hearth extension, unless the appli
-
ance is raised a minimum of 6 inches above the combus

tible floor or hearth. See Figures 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11.
