IGNITION SYSTEM
NORMAL FURNACE OPERATING SEQUENCE
This unit is equipped with

three ignition system.
After

me, the system goes into

100% lockout mode. After one hour, the ignition control repe

ts the prepurge

nd ignition
cycles for
3
tries
a
nd then go into 100% lockout mode
a
g
a
in. It continues this sequence of
cycles
a
nd lockout e
a
ch hour until ignition is successful or power is interrupted. During the
lockout mode, neither the ignitor or g
a
s v
a
lve will be energized until the system is reset by
turning the thermost
a
t to the “OFF” position or interrupting the electric
a
l power to the unit
for
3
seconds or longer. The induced dr
a
ft blower
a
nd m
a
in burner will shut off when the
thermost
a
t is s
a
tisfied.
The circul

ting
a
ir blower will st

rt
a
nd run on the he
a
ting speed if the thermost

t f
a
n
switch is in the “ON” position.
The integr

ted furn

ce control is equipped with di

gnostic LED. The LED is lit continuously
when there is power to the control, with or without
