SET UP
Replacing Batteries
1. Unplug the scale.
2. Remove the battery cover from the display assembly.
3. Disconnect battery holder cable connector from the scale battery connector.
4. Carefully remove the battery holder by sliding it out the display assembly.
. Replace the batteries with new ones.
. Carefully position the battery holder into the display assembly.
. Connect the battery holder cable connector to the scale battery connector.
. Attach the battery cover to the display assembly and install the screw.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure there is no ob ect on the weighing platform

Press the ON OFF button to turn the scale on.
3. Wait

and ERO on the left side of the display appear.
4. Ask the patient to step on the scale. The display should read WEI HIN until the
weight calculation is complete and the weight is displayed.

. If you wish to reweigh without asking the patient to step off and to step on the scale
again, press the REWEI H button.
. Ask the patient to step off the scale.
NOTE:
The scale will always default to the settings and units last used.

TARE FUNCTION
When using the scale the weight of an object such as a wheelchair or shoes accompanying the
patient can be subtracted from the total weight to determine the weight of the patient alone. The
Tare function automatically performs this subtraction, avoiding the need for manual calculations.
Pro Plus scales allow tare weight to be entered automatically or manually.
