NOTE
If the integral carabiner is damaged or unserviceable, the complete descent
line must be replaced. Use only genuine TRUBLUE iQ replacement parts.
9.4.1 OPERATION
Triple locking carabiners are opened by sliding the gate down, rotating the gate’s
collar and pushing the gate open towards the spine of the carabiner.
ƒ Attach the carabiner to the correct loop on the harness with the gate
facing away from the user.
ƒ Allow the gate to snap shut, ensuring the collar has rotating back and is
locked. Ensure that no clothing, webbing or other objects are obstructing
the gate.
ƒ Double check that the gate is secure.

Carabiner Operation
The connector must be inspected and operated in accordance with the
connectors Operator Manual. Other connectors are available and should be
operated in accordance with their individual manuals.
9.4.2 SECONDARY CONNECTIONS TO THE HARNESS
A secondary connector may be used with the TRUBLUE iQ. It is the responsibility
of the operator to determine if a secondary connector is required for use.

continuous connection systems.
