dis played on the LCD, press the Menu/Exit
button.
2. Using the down (

) button, move to the
>Information
menu option, and then select it
by pressing the OK button.
3. Select the
>FW Version
menu option by
pressing the OK button.
The firmware version number displays.
4. To exit out of this field, press Menu/Exit .
To view the hardware serial number:
1. When
Yap Jack Plus * Ready *
is
displayed on the LCD, press the Menu/Exit
button.
2. Using the down (
?
) button, move to the
>Information
menu option, and then select it
by pressing the OK button.
3. Press the down (
?
) button to move to the
>Serial Number
menu option, and then select
it by pressing the OK button.
The hardware’s serial number displays.
4. To exit out of this field, press Menu/Exit .
Testing your ISP Connection
Although not required, it is recommended that you have
the Yap Jack Plus test the ISP connection before you
place your first call.
To test your ISP connection:
1. When
Yap Jack Plus * Ready *
is
displayed on the LCD, press the Menu/Exit
button.
2. Using the down (
?
) button, move to the
>Self
Test
menu option, and then select it by pressing
the OK button.
The device will attempt to connect to your ISP
access telephone number.
If the connection is successful,
Test
Successful
displays on the LCD. If the
