Changing the Frames per Packet
Setting
If users encounter poor call quality because of bandwidth
issues, the frames per packet setting can be changed to 1,
2 or 3. The default setting is 2. 1 can be used when the
connection is good, 3 when the connection is poor.
To change the frames per packet setting:
1. When
Yap Jack Plus * Ready *
is
displayed on the LCD, press the Menu/Exit
button.
2. Using the down (

) button, move to the
>Advanced Setup
menu option, and press the
OK button.
3. Using the down (

) button, move to the
>Device Setup
menu option, and press the OK
button.
4. Using the down (

) button, move to the
>Frames Per Pkt
menu option, and press the
OK button.
The
Frames Per Pkt
selection field displays.

the desired setting from the available options:

Getting Product Information
The Information feature provides the following information:

Firmware version number

Hardware serial number
This information is especially helpful when troubleshooting
product problems.
To view the firmware version:
