Call Duration
To view the duration of your call, press the OK button
three times. You can designate when you would like the
call duration to display: during the call, after the call, or
both. For more information on configuring this option, see
Chapter 5,

Cost of Call
To view the cost of the call during the call, press the OK
button three times. The cost appears together with the
call duration. You can designate whether or not you would
like the cost to display. For more information on configuring
this option, see Chapter 5,
Using Other Features .
Volume
To make the volume softer o r louder, press the left (
?
)
and right (
?
) arrow keys until the volume is comfortable.
Calling Regular Telephones
Disconnect Mode
When you make a call in Disconnect mode, the Yap Jack
Plus disconnects from your ISP after each call. This is the
default setting when you receive your device.
To make a call to a regular telephone in Disconnect
mode:
1. Pick up your telephone handset, and listen for a
dial tone.
2. Press the @ button on your Yap Jack Plus.
3. Using your telephone keypad, dial the number of
the person you want to call.
