country and press the OK button.
For example: If the prefix for international dialing
in your country is “00,” and you want to call the
UK (Country Code 44), then you should enter
“
00 ” in the
Mask Dial Prefix
field so that
when you place your call, you will dial “0044,” as
usual, and the telephone number you want to call
without entering “011” first. In this example, to
call the UK, you would dial
00 + country code +
area code + number, or 0044604-870-2250.
When placing a call within your country
(outside of the US), you must still enter your
Dial Prefix and the Country Code before
entering the telephone number. To place the
call within France, for example, you would
dial 00 + country code + area code +
number, or 003356443822.
7. Press the Menu/Exit button until the LCD
displays
Yap Jack Plus * Ready *
, and
hang up your telephone handset.
Changing the Voice Headers
Setting
Users can switch between N2P and RTP (default) voice
headers, depending on Net2Phone network routing. This
value should only be modified if directed to by a
Net2Phone reseller or Net2Phone support.
To change the voice headers setting:
1. When
Yap Jack Plus * Ready *
is
displayed on the LCD, press the Menu/Exit
button.
2. Using the down (
?
) button, move to the
>Advanced Setup
menu option, and press the
OK button.
3. Using the down (
?
) button, move to the
>Device Setup
menu option, and press the OK
button.
4. Using the down (
?
) button, move to the
>Voice
Headers
menu option, and press the OK button.
The
Voice Headers
entry field displays.
