Long Ethernet cables
There are certain cases when there might be a problem
setting up a connection with the installed Intel i210
Ethernet controller. The controller generates a link pulse,
which is required to set up the connection, but not com
pliant with the Ethernet specification. If you experience
problems, the network search (scan) will not function.
Sensor failure or removing a sensor during
measuring mode
You have the option to configure catman
so that the
signal value assumes the value you have preset and an
entry is written in the logbook.
Module decoupled
A module or an entire module string may become
detached, particularly in the distributed module group,
e.g. in trains. You have the option to configure catman
so that measurement continues or is canceled.
