Maintenance and care
The hydraulic pump must be cleaned after each
instance of use.
• For safety reasons, the working pressure must be
checked after approx. one month. Despite being
set up precisely and checked at the factory, the
max. attainable working pressure may still change
when used. The manufacturer must be contacted in
the event of deviation from the specified tolerance
(working pressure, p. 14 technical data).
• The first oil change must be carried out after six
months, wherein a pressure check must first be
undertaken. In the event of deviation from the
nominal pressure according to the operating in-
structions, the pressure valve must be adjusted
by the manufacturer.
• The oil must be changed once per year. The oil must
be changed every six months in the event of regular
use or use in a particularly dusty environment.
• If the pump is used with different working tools or
cylinders, or if it is disconnected and re-connected
frequently, the oil level must be checked weekly
and the oil topped up as necessary.
1. Filling the pump with oil
Only fill with oil when the cylinders are
fully retracted (or extended, in the case
of draw cylinders), otherwise the system
will receive more oil than the tank can
hold.
• Remove the filler / bleed cover (3) from the tank,
• Only fill the tank with oil to approx. 1.5-2.0 cm
beneath the level of the upper edge of the tank.
• If required, bleed air out of the system. Then check
the oil level again after bleeding.
• Return the bleed / filler cover to its prescribed
position.
• Care must be taken that no dirt enters the tank or
the pump itself, otherwise malfunctions may occur.
Do not carry out your own repairs or re-
move any items such as bolts or other
components.
2. Spare parts
• Only use the manufacturer’s
original spare parts.
• Unsuitable or defective spare parts may
cause damage, malfunction or total failure of the
tool.
• The use of non-approved spare parts will void all
warranty, service and liability claims as well as all
claims for compensation against the manufacturer
or its agents, distributors and sales representatives.

Storage
The device has to be stored
according to the following conditions:
• Keep device in a dry and dust-free place.
• Do not expose the device to liquids and/or ag-
gressive substances.
• Do not store the device outdoors.
• Keep the tool out of reach of unauthorized persons.
• Storage tempe10 °C to +50 °C with low air
humidity.
6
Disposal
• Hydraulic tools must not be disposed of in the
domestic waste, but at suitable collecting points.
• Lubrication and other auxiliary materials must
be treated as hazardous waste and may only be
disposed of by authorized specialists.
• The oil must be drained for disposal and disposed
of at suitable collecting points.
• All components that cannot be completely freed of
oil must be disposed of separately.
• The remaining parts of the tool must be disposed
of with due consideration for the applicable envi-
ronmental standards.
• Reducing environmental pollution and preserving
the environment are at the heart of our activities.
