3. Appropriate Use
Operational reliability can only be ensured, if
the tool is used as intended and in compliance

the application area of this tool have to be
observed and respected.
Always ensure that the tools are used, inspect-
ed and maintained in com pliance with the
respective local, state, national or federal regu-
lations.
• Hollow piston cylinders serve for the con-
version of hydraulic pressure into linear
motion.
• Hollow piston cylinders must be operated
with hydraulic oil only.
• The present hollow piston cylinder is single
acting and laid out for a maximum force of
170 kN. This corresponds to a maximum
operating pressure of 700 bar.
• Overloading may cause the failure of the
hydraulic system and therefore cause per-
sonal injury or damage to property.
• Do not exceed the maximum load.
• The improper use of the HAZET hollow
piston cylinder or the disregard of the safety
advice may cause severe injury or death.
• Any deviation from the intended use and/
or any misapplication of the tool is not
allowed and will be considered as improper
use.
• Any claims against the manufacturer and/
or its authorized agents because of damage
caused by improper use of the tool will be
void.
