BS3680 U-Throated Flume

In this example it is required to calculate

to BS3680 the flow through a U-Throated

Flume without any hump.

Absolute

calculation will be used. The flow rate is

to be displayed in cubic meters/hour and

the totaliser is also to record the flow in

cubic metres.

The distance from the end of the trans-

ducer to zero flow is 1 metre and max

head is 0.4 metres, maximum flow.

The dimensions of the flume are as fol
