No power to unit.
Make sure power cord is plugged into an appropriate receptacle
(see SPECIFICATIONS section). Check circuit breaker and reset
as necessary. Check for damage to power cord. Check electrical
receptacle. Make sure the control cable is plugged in properly.
Electronic controls defective.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Pan is not holding at the setpoint
temperature.
Pan bottom is not touching the glass. Check if handles are in vertical position. Make sure pan is not
sitting on the handles. Check if the pan bottom is flat.

from date of purchase or 30 months from date of shipping from
Hatco, whichever occurs first.

Voltage of electrical system is too high for
the unit.
Plug the unit into a properly grounded electrical
receptacle of the correct voltage, size, and plug
configuration. See the SPECIFICATIONS section
for details
Unit under voltage
Voltage of electrical system is too low for the
unit.
Internal over
temperature
The internal temperature of the unit has
exceeded the safe limit.
Turn off unit and allow to cool for a minimum of
30 minutes before restarting. If error still exists,
contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for
assistance.
Hardware error
Unit is experiencing a disturbance in the
power supply and has shut down to protect
unit from damage.
Turn off unit and allow to cool for a minimum of
10 minutes before restarting. If error still exists,
contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for
assistance.
Temperature probe
defective
Temperature probes are defective.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for
assistance.
Communication error
Internal communication error between
components. Unit has shut down for protection
against damage.
Replace the control cable and restart the unit. Iff
error still exists, contact Authorized Service Agent
or Hatco for assistance.
